My mission is to glorify Jesus in my everyday life, in my interactions with clients, and in my work. How It Works

First Contact

You reach out to Agape Digital to discuss your project. You provide details about the project you have in mind, or perhaps you already have a project launched but need my help. The more details you provide, the better I can enter our first conversation with stronger feedback.

Discovery

We have our first meeting. (The first meeting is a free one-hour video or phone call.) We dive into your goals, the project's goals, your audience, and other important focal points. Should we both decide to move forward on the project, subsequent meetings may be scheduled if more data is needed. These additional meetings can be in person if the physical distance between us is feasible, or the meetings can be via telecommunications.

Roadmapping

Once a clear understanding of the project's goals and scope is established, I begin mapping out the project's timeline and milestones, such as when certain features should be completed and when the project should be considered complete. This is a valuable step to ensure that the project can remain on track and is not over-scoped.

Design

I begin the UI and UX designing process, creating wireframes, mockups, or proof of concept. You review the designs and provide feedback that best matches your vision. Remember, we are a team working together to create a masterpiece. As we bounce ideas back and forth, the final design becomes more refined and polished, which can be very exciting!

Development

Development on the project begins. With enough data, a clear roadmap, and final design plans, I can start bringing your ideas to life. Each step of the way, I provide feedback and updates to ensure that the project is on track. As a team, we make sure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Testing

Once development is completed on a feature, extensive automation testing and manual testing is performed to find any bugs or issues. A project can have a clean design or slick programming logic, but if it is full of defects, your end users will not be satisfied. 100% of the code is tested to ensure that the project is bug-free. The Design, Development, and Testing steps are iterated until the project is complete.

Final Review

We have a post-mortem meeting to review the project and provide feedback. In Agile Development, this is called a "Retrospective" meeting. We discuss what went well, what did not go as well as planned, and how the project can be improved going forward. If any changes are needed, we revisit the project and make necessary adjustments.

Launch

The project is officially launched! From small beginnings of contacting Agape Digital, to multiple discussions on getting the project started, to multiple iterations of design and development, we have reached this point together as a team. Everything hums warmly and smoothly, and you see what was once an idea brought to life before your eyes. Congratulations on your success!

Support

Now that you have launched, there will inevitably be questions from end users, additional feature requests, and general support for the project. This is a natural part of the software development lifecycle. Agape Digital is here every step of the way, and I will not abandon you now. Just as it was in the beginning, we are a team that seeks first the Kingdom.

Legacy

Your project has had a good run. Whether your project's life was intended to be months or years, all software eventually reaches legacy, a state of retirement where future development ceases. Once this state is achieved, I will be here to help sunset the project and discuss any future projects.
